Understanding Number Statistics
This page displays frequency statistics for all Powerball numbers. The grid uses color coding to show relative frequency - warmer colors (red/orange) indicate numbers drawn more often, while cooler colors (blue) indicate less frequent numbers.
Numbers with a colored ring are "overdue" - meaning they haven't been drawn for longer than their historical average gap. However, this is purely descriptive; each draw is random and independent.
How Powerball Works
In each Powerball drawing, 5 white balls are drawn from a pool of 69 balls, and 1 red Powerball is drawn from a separate pool of 26 balls. The two pools are completely independent.
Note: Past frequency does not predict future results. Every number has an equal probability of being drawn in each new drawing.
