About Powerball
Powerball is a multi-state lottery game played across 45 US states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Players select five white balls from a pool of 69 numbers and one red Powerball from a separate pool of 26 numbers.
Drawings are held three times per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. The jackpot starts at $20 million and grows until someone matches all six numbers. The largest Powerball jackpot in history was $2.04 billion, won in November 2022.
